Cherie, at the MGM Rewards desk, was absolutely fantastic! We had some issues at check-in, but she helped us through and gave us excellent customer service. The folks at the Front Desk gave us bad information about comp rooms, operational times for customer service, and were largely unhelpful. The staff at the buffet were polite and helpful, as were the people working on the gaming floor. The people working at Haagen Dazs and the burger spot in the food hall were pleasant and the food was good. Overall, we enjoyed out stay, but there's room to improve.
Casino was busy on Saturday. We were a party of five and two of us came home winners. The buffet was over the top this visit. Prime rib, lemon fish, porkchops, steak all cooked to perfection. The seasoned mushrooms were addictive! I can not express enought how much I enjoy our meal there. The best I ever had at the borgota!
Great experience staying here! The room was the perfect temp, shower hot and beds comfortable. My only complaint was the food court restaurants not staying open posted hours. The pool was great and drinks were good!
The Borgata remains the gold standard for the Atlantic City experience, offering a polished MGM atmosphere that feels more like a curated escape than a sprawling, chaotic Vegas floor. While it doesn't match the sheer scale of the Nevada giants, it makes up for it with a coastal sophistication that is hard to find elsewhere on the East Coast. The property is essentially an island of luxury. This is both its greatest strength and its only real logistical hurdle. Because it is tucked away from the main boardwalk, you won’t be wandering out for a casual stroll to other landmarks. You’ll be relying on Ubers or the local shuttles to get anywhere else, so it is best to arrive with the mindset that once you’re in, you’re in. Fortunately, the Borgata makes a strong case for never leaving. The culinary program is standout, avoiding the typical "sad casino buffet" tropes in favor of genuinely high-quality dining. For those with MGM Gold status, the lounge buffet is arguably the best value in the city, offering a solid spread for under $15. The amenities are equally impressive, particularly for those who prioritize downtime. With two indoor pools and two outdoor options, there is enough variety to find a quiet corner regardless of the season. It’s a well-oiled machine of a resort that balances high-energy gaming with genuine comfort. If you don't mind the short rideshare to see the rest of the city, it’s easily the most refined stay in town.
I cannot vouchers for the rooms as we did not stay over l, but the casino is beautiful. The layout of the place is great, common areas are pristine, and the various restaurants and services make it a perfect place to do business in. They also are one of the two only buffets served by hotels in the area. The wide selection of items for brunch makes it a perfect place to dine as its sure to offer several options for all palates. We hope to stay there in the future.
