Nice atmosphere and a very pleasant setting overall. The place has a great vibe, making it a good spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The food was also very good—fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. However, the service could definitely be improved. It took quite a long time for the staff to come and take our order, and the wait for the food was also longer than expected. While the quality of the meal made up for it to some extent, the slow service affected the overall experience. Just a note about the Georgian menu — the khinkali didn’t seem like a real ones it was too small strange looking …( I know how the real one looks ) the plov wasn’t very tasty, and the horse meat was too tough to chew. It felt like the rice was simply cooked and the meat added afterward, rather than properly prepared together.. With more attentive and faster service, this place could easily become a top choice.
Beautiful view. The food is lovely and the 2for1 drinks were really good. I had two Bellini‘s. They were made very well. Definitely stop by here for food. The view is beautiful and we even had some entertainment watching the birds and people swim!
Booked a table on recommendation of our Maltese taxi driver and after calling in for a.coffee. Beautiful inside with lovely views across Balluta Bay. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Complementary bread with olive oil & balsamic vinegar were followed by a huge grilled Lampuki fish with sides of Mediterranean vegetables and pan fried sweet potato. The fish was beautifully cooked and enough for 3 people ! We were given a limoncello on the house and shared a tiramisu and coffee. Superb food and good value for money. Highly recommended 👌
We really liked the place, nice views & atmosphere, thought the waiters/ses were helpful and friendly, We had a seafood pizza and squids' ink pasta (the black one!) and both dishes were delicious, generous portions and not too salty for me, we came back a few days later and same quality food & friendly staff, like the Irish &Baileys coffees both times. Definitely would return next time we're in the area, and hopefully be able to try their homemade tiramisu!
The Piccolo Padre is a must in Sliema. The looks are amazing, the food is great and the service is the best. We had some sea food and rissoto and it was greatly cooked and fresh. For someone who doesn't eat calamari or octopus this was a first, so if this doesn't convice you, i don't know what is. Special thanks for Johnny. He is a great guy and a very good waiter.
